Google recently leaked its upcoming AI agent, Jarvis, designed to browse the web in Chrome.
According to The Information, Google briefly posted an internal preview of this project, codenamed Jarvis, on the Chrome extension store. The prototype was quickly removed, but a few users managed to download it before it disappeared. However, they couldn’t use it as the program required specific access permissions.
The listing described Jarvis as “a helpful companion that surfs the web with you.” This aligns with reports from October indicating that Jarvis would assist with online shopping and could even book vacations on your behalf.
With reports from The Information that Google plans to officially unveil the AI Agent in December, this leak suggests the wait will be short.
